Sharp was founded nearly a century ago in Japan and has been at the forefront of solar technology for fifty of those years. The vision of their founder, Tokuji Hayakawa was that “Sharp makes products that others want to imitate.”
Sharp solar panels began mass production of solar cells in the sixties when they constructed a 225-watt generating facility for a lighthouse, the world’s largest solar power system at the time. Sharp began developing solar cells for use in outer space in 1967. At present, Sharp is still the only company in Japan authorized to provide solar cells to JAXA, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency.
With so much experience behind them, it’s no wonder Sharp produces such high quality solar panels and Inexpensive
Solar Panels. Sharp’s solar panels are built to withstand the most rigorous operating conditions while still offering high power output. Their proprietary innovation in surface texturing of panels increases their light absorption yielding high efficiency ratings up to 14.4 percent.
Manufactured in Memphis, Sharp solar panels are Inexpensive Solar Panels that made for commercial, residential grid-tie roof systems or for arrays mounted on the ground. They come with 25-year limited warranty and are UL listed.
